Paper Title
DEVELOPMENT OF AN EFFECTIVE IMPLEMENTATION OF TOTAL QUALITY MANAGEMENT (TQM) BY THE PRIORITY RANKING METHOD IN SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES (SMES) IN JHARKHAND.

Abstract
Abstract - Manufacturing companies in India have realised that they will not be able to achieve competitive success if they do not become quality conscious, and they have to focus on total quality management issues. This paper presents the results of a recent study that investigated the factors affecting the implementation of TQM in small and medium enterprises. This research attempts to identify the critical factors that are mainly responsible for the implementation of TQM. Principal Component Analysis (PCA) has been used to prioritise these factors. These principles are used to evaluate each combination of variables and loading factors, with greater loadings indicating a stronger relationship between the two. These loading factors identify the critical parameters for TQM implementation. After identification of critical parameters, on the basis of the loading factor, a strategy has been formulated based on responses for TQM implementation in SMEs in Jharkhand. Keywords - TQM, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), PCA.
