Paper Title
Simulation Studies on Heat Transfer Characteristics of Shell and Tube Heat Exchanger Using Glycerol-Water

Abstract
Glycerol-water was taken in a shell and tube heat exchanger at different concentrations and an experimental investigation was carried out. Different concentrations of 1%, 2%, 3% glycerol were prepared and the heat transfer characteristics for the corresponding concentrations were found. For constant hot flow rate the inlet and outlet temperatures for different concentrations were found out. Obtained results were validated using ANN-MATLAB software where 3% glycerol-water was found to be more effective as compared to 2% and then 1% glycerol-water system.
