NUMERICAL STUDY ON STATIC BEHAVIOR OF FIBER REINFORCED COMPOSITE PANELS
Composite structure is increasingly common in industrial application due to their high flexural stiffness-to-weight ratio and structural stability. In the present study, static behavior analysis of fibre reinforced composite shell panel with different loading and boundary conditions are discussed. Static behavior of the composite with various fiber orientations is analyzed. The finite element theory is based on the first order shear deformation theory. And numerical analysis has been carried out using MATLAB software. The developed finite element model is validated with available result of reference. Some numerical example is solved with different boundary conditions and fixed thickness of the composite laminate.
