Water Quality Assessing Model and Intelligent Industrial Automation of Water Treatment Plants

Abstract
This paper presents a different method to assess water quality, which is usually a multi-variate parameter, through a single number (Index) by analyzing all individual features relative to the standards provided by the state authorities. A comparison has been made on the applied techniques i.e. Fuzzy logic, Mathematical Model and Hybrid Model, the latter being the one giving the most considerable values as it inherits best features of other techniques. Paper also throws light on the Intelligent Automation of plants where a controller which manages the activities of plants, learns to control the working of devices by judging their working conditions and credibility.
