Paper Title
Examining the Impact of Financial Inclusion on Poverty Reduction In India
Abstract
This study investigates the impact of financial inclusion on poverty reduction in India, focusing on Kheda and Anand districts of Gujarat. Grounded in the positivist paradigm and guided by a quantitative design, the research employs a structured questionnaire to examine the relationship between financial inclusion (access, usage, and quality of services) and poverty reduction indicators (income, asset ownership, and household well-being). Data collection is currently 50% complete. Preliminary results suggest that access to credit, savings, and digital financial services positively influence household economic resilience and welfare. The paper outlines the progress and remaining data collection plans, methodological framework, and expected outcomes.
