The Startups Insights Dashboard: Integrating ML and NLP for Predictive Analytics and Effective Pitching in Entrepreneurship

Abstract
Although the startup ecosystem is an innovational powerhouse, it remains with the problem of information fragmentation and inaccessible foresight tools. This shortcoming is discussed in the presented paper using the example of Startups Insights Dashboard that is an application that utilizes machine learning (ML) and natural language processing (NLP) to enhance startup and investor decision-making. With the system, various startup data sets such as funding rounds, industry segment, founder information and historical revenue streams are combined into an elegant interactive interface. Among the important contributions include an improved ML-based deal prediction model that takes into account financial and team metrics that has an accuracy of 85% when reported. The platform also has a pitch deck analyzer and generator which leverages on NLP to identify and generate language and thematic elements that are related to successful funding pitch. The dashboard enables benchmark comparisons, customized advice, and sentiment-sensitive insights among the investors, using advanced analytics with easy visualization, called info graphics. This innovation is a very vital move towards removing the information asymmetry that is common in the high risk startup environment.
