Role of Performance Management System on Employee’s organizational Performance with Special Reference to IT Industry: Evidence from South India

Abstract
The evolution of the concept of ‘Performance Management’ as a new human resource control version displays a change of emphasis from command-and-manage toward a facilitation and support version of leadership. This modification has been followed by means of the popularity of the significance of recognition on individual and institutional performance to the strategic or lengthy-term and overarching mission of the organization. The study is an evident of significant role of performance management on organizational effectiveness. The process of performance management system (PMS) were studied specially IT companies and studied about impact of the process on effectiveness. To do this, the data were collected from 776 workers from 5 IT companies located southern part of India using simple random sampling. A structured questionnaire as an instrument was developed to measure the impact of performance management on employee organizational performance. This instrument was tested its purification and stability by tests of reliability and validity in SPSS software. For the exact representation of the study, the researcher has used the SPSS and AMOS software for the data analysis. From the SPSS software, ANOVA and Multiple regressions were analyzed. This study adds more empirical evidenced which supports that, performance management have a considerable relationship with the employee’s organizational performance and all the important demographic variables contributed significantly to the other variables.
