Detailed Study on the Role of Employees in Digital Alteration with Special Reference to E Commerce Firms in India

Abstract
Background of the study Technology (IT) has extensively stepped forward the performance of the HR branch in terms of recruiting and deciding on, training and development, and other related features consequently, permits companies to lessen their fees related and enhance the speediness. Ecommerce industry sincerely has quite a few scopes compared to different sectors in India wherein growing significance of HR and structures can be seen. We can see often youth brigade following the ecommerce startups because it offers them the coolest pay and existence style favored, however getting the proper skills still stays the task, even in the ecommerce startups. Variables used for the study Utility, productivity, engagement and experience acted as independent variables. Digital transformation acted as a mediating variable. Customer experience, operational agility, business culture, workforce enablement, digital and technology integration, workers retention and profitability acted as dependent variables Findings of the study From the study it found that role of employees in digital transformation have a positive and significant relationship with e commerce firms. In addition E-commerce sectors must have adequate support from the government in terms of easy finance and capital in order to incorporate the plans that support digitalization of the sector Conclusion Encouraging on using more and more of new technologies in the e-commerce sector that increases the sales which results in profits and income to the employees and added motivation to them as well.
